Winterhike on the Painters' Trail
This hike will take you to the area on the left bank of the river Elbe on the famous and well known Malerweg which is a worthwhile destination in winter. Wide views over to the fortress Königstein and the table mountain Lilienstein line our way. Learn more about the formation of the bizarre rocky landscape of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains and discover hidden caves and viewpoints!
Passing the small and quaint village Thürmsdorf, it will be possible to stop by the romantic castle and enjoy a hot chocolate in the café.
