Discover the Geology in Hohnstein
This hike will lead us to Hohnstein and into the Polenztal, which has been formed by geological processes some 100 million years ago. We will discover dark, silent caves and learn more about the formation of these bizarre mountains. Enjoy hidden views and rocky outcrops high above the Polenztal, one of the oldes natural protection areas in the region. We will also learn and discuss about the consequences of climate change for the forests.
